Including a Diagram in an OpenOffice Document

Including a Diagram in an OpenOffice Document

If you are in an OpenOffice document (-normally either the Word Processor or Presentation module), you can include a diagram by positioning the cursor at the place you wish to display the diagram, then choosing:

Insert → Object → OLE Object

Insert OLE Object

From the dialogue box that displays, choose “Create from file”, then click “Search”:

Create from File Dialogue

Locate the file, select it, then click the “Open” button:

Locate the File and click Open

Finally, click “OK” in the original dialogue box to import the contents of the file.
